Areas of Practice
Personal Injury
I represent claimants who have been injured as a result of another’s wrongdoing. For examples, damages may arise from an automobile accident, dog bite, slip and fall or boating accident. I also defend individuals who have claims made against them. Sometimes your insurance carrier provides a defense; when the claims exceed your coverage you may want to hire your own attorney to represent your interest.
Worker's Compensation Law
I represent employees who are injured on the job in making claims for lost wages, medical treatment, permanent partial disability (partial or whole loss of function of a body part) and death benefits.

Wills, Trusts and Estate Administration
I prepare Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Living Will, Health Care Power of Attorney, Durable Power of Attorney and other directives to protect you and your property. I represent executors or personal representatives in the probate and administration of an estate.

Insurance Law
If you have a question of coverage, or disputes between competing policies of insurance, I can represent your interests in resolving these issues. Sometimes your policy provides for arbitration to resolve these disputes. It is probably in your best interest to have your own legal representation to present your position.

Litigation
Litigation covers a broad spectrum of law suits. I can represent you as a plaintiff in bringing suit upon an individual, business, or corporation. I can also defend you against a plaintiff who has brought suit against you. These disputes can vary from personal injury to contracts and business matters.

Alternative Dispute Resolution
There are various forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), mainly arbitration and mediation. In Arbitration the parties present their case to a private judge, the arbitrator, or a committee, panel of three arbitrators, who decide the case. Arbitration can be binding or non-binding. Mediation is a process where the parties meet, with or without legal representation, with a mediator, a neutral person, who listens to both sides and then assists the parties to reach a voluntary resolution of their dispute.
